I remember getting this back in 1999. My first cellphone. Bought it with a friend (you know who u are..hehhee..*wink wink) at Stadium Bukit Jalil , ada jualan gudang ke hapa time tuh. Costed about 300.00++ I guess, tak ingatlah. Couldn't afford the Norkiah, (The most stylish and sophisticated cellphone during that era: The bananalah, the 3210, with build-in antennas, vibrating mode..nak buat apa vibrating tuh tatauuu...) Tada cukup duitlah, I was just joined the company as an Executive Trainee. Twas the best year of my life. No need to study, no need to "work", purely loads and loads of enjoyment...
It was just a simple phone, no GPRS, no EDGE, no HSCHD, no 3G, no bluetooth, no infrared, no camera, basically nothing except the calling functions, sms, calculator, analog clock and timer. But it was one hell of a phone, really. Easy to use, and it's totally indestructible .Hehehe..Berapa kali pun jatuh berdegang degang atas lantai, masih maintainnnn. Even good for lekuk lekuking paler bebudak yang sungguh nakal time tuh sebab dia kata antenna hempon aku besar , boleh buat korek idung. Hehehe...
It was really cheap too, remember ya, cellphone in 1999. Where got cheap one, ah?
The ringtone was only monophonics and was really loud. But I got very excited when the phone rang,I would literally jumped by the mere sound of it. (Especially, late at night..Hehehe..For I know who's on the other side of the line. :-) )
I just use it for a year, then I traded it (dapat jual 50 hengget jek) with a Norkiah 3210. Now, I just wish I'd kept it for the good ol time's sake..
