I know what you think. A cupcake disaster. Famil, stop grinning like that!

Hey, what do you expect? This is my first attempt. And I tell you my first always turn out to be disastrous(not all first, though..*gelak getik*) Well,at least it's edible. Mira loved it! (But I guess that's definitely sugar talking.Hehe)

Ok. Let me explain the misadventure.

I've been browsing for Cupcakes pages for like ages, even ordered those cuties from Kak Pnut. And today,after browsing for the umpteenth time , I saw them calling to me. Desperately. Siap lambai-lambai ratu u ols, terailahh...terailahhhh buat daku....

So, after doing a little bit of research,(research u ols, nak buat cupcake jek), I took my first shot.

Tapi, ngelat jela kan, because I didn't make the cakes from scratch, the cupcakes were from the Nona Instant Cupcake, just add telo, water and butter. No weighing included.

But the point of making cupcakes is not the cake, but the decoration. That's why I took extra care in preparing the buttercream (i.e. the icing on top), but since I went shopping at Tesco, I couldn't find any quality decorating tools, (the tip, the piping bag, etc.) . Most of it are made of plastic. Belilah, anyhow..

So, when it came to the decorating part, sungguh berkobar-kobar. I prepared 3 colors of icing, pink, green and chocolate. Stuffed in the pink icing first in the piping bag (more like plastic bag je aku tengok), and began piping. Ok, not bad. Try the second color, this is where Tesco failed me. The plastik koyak, ok.

What am I going to do with the rest of the icing? I still haven't finish decorating! Hampehs taw. So, in the end, kenalah biarkan je cupcake aku terkontang kanting ala tak siap je cenggitu.
